Ok a very vocal segment of the forum is clmmoring for more modern Pick-up truck kits. Here is your chance to show the model manufacturerer that you put your money where your mouth is. Let's see your pick-up truck models. we all know that the model companies check out this forum. show them that you mean business. At the same time fill out the attached survey and tell them what new truck you want made.

Ok first of all how are we supposed to post photos of kits that don't exist. There are no modern truck kits available, the last truck kit produced is a truck now 12 years out of date, the runners up are 15 and 21 years old.

I can put up or shut up with some antique (25 years +) trucks though.

Oh yeah, I better put one of these :P so you don't think I'm mad, just pointing out some potential for misunderstanding.

Chuck, you really need to invest in a 1/25 scale car wash.

We can post what we have to work with, though. See that diecast F-250 of mine? I'd have 20 of those things if they were full-detail styrene, or heck, even decent curbside (gasp) snap kits! B)

Pfffffffffffft.... car washes are immensely overrated. :P

Darin, you might want to think about rewording the header on the thread. I opened it expecting a thread about posting pickup models people have already built. This seems to be a poll about what new pickup people would like to see kitted, right?

It is both. The idea is to get a handle on the whole scale pick-up thing. It would appear that the text I had in the original post did not show.

I didn't say the posts had to be current pick-up, but give the guys calling for new pick-ups, a chance to show there enthusiasm for scale pick-ups.

The diecast people largely overlook modern pickups as well(though they are a bit better than plastic kits, selection wise), but I've spent quite a bit of money I could have spent on a theoretical modern pickup kit or two on some high end diecast-

The trucks pictured here actually belong to my father, but I have all four of these (and more), just haven't taken them out of the shipping containers in a while. B)
