JamesW
Here's the start of my garage. I'm going to enlarge it a little. And I'm saving some $ to make it worth the trip to Ann Arbor (Riders Hobby) for the sheeting for the walls.

GTMust
What did you use for the asphalt? Waterproof sandpaper? You might consider giving it a very watery light gray acrylic craft paint wash, using a wide brush and allowing the paint strokes to show a line of travel for the vehicles. If you do, experiment first on some spare sandpaper to get the feel of what I mean. It's difficult to describe in words so you really need to experiment first. You're doing a great job so far....... this is just a suggestion. Tony Edited December 12, 2011 by GTMust
JamesW
It's just black posterboard I found at Walgreens. With the cleanliness of the whole building it looks like a newly built shop with fresh asphalt.
JamesW
Got the lift finished. Edited December 13, 2011 by grimreaper
Eshaver
James, in all seriousness, you need to beat the floor up some . Even a shall we say sanitary shop with that type of tile has some wear on it .......... Ed Shaver
JamesW
Workin on it Ed, I'm workin on it. Once I get all the equipment done and placed I can figure out where the "weathering" should be.

The floor (as well as wall plugs and such) is self adhesive sheets I got on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/350498226900
