2012 POST APOCALYPSE/ZOMBIE HUNTER COMMUNITY BUILD

Good looking stuff everyone. Virgil you never fail to impress. I promise to finish mine this weekend. A commitment to another forum and family issues have kept me away from the truck.

The Sherman is finished, I just need to flat coat it, and I'll be assembling my TZH recon truck.

Hey Virg, e mail coming your way.

OK .. I'm stepping way out and going to start gettin gin on the fun! :) I've had a mouse cover sitting by my paint booth for years wanting to become a hot rod body .. and now I figure what we need is a

POST APOCALYPSE Hot rod!

I found an MPC Scorpian kit that I must have gotten off ebay that was built but had no paint. It has a VW Bug based chassis with an twin turbo motor that should suffice hanging out the rear. I'm just getting into the idea phase but did start fittin gthe chassis to the mouse cover. I also had a Longbow Apachie helicopter that can contribute armament and bits and pieces, but looks like I'll have to build some weapons myself. There's lots of ideas in this thread to use! :) The kit tires are nice and wide and the wheels are good for the look so they may siffice unless I come on some more aggressive ones. I love scarfing up household and garage items for a build, so this should be FUN!

Thank you Luke, Jerred, Sam, Mike D. everyone.

The eye candy you guys are dishing out is amazing.

Case in point, look at this round of eye candy Mike's got started. I can't wait to see it, Mike. Keep it going.

Talk about stepping out of the box! What an awesome concept! That mouse body is a GREAT starting point! I have an old mouse sitting around here somewhere too. You'll have to forgive me if I happen to copy your idea at some point!

Imagine that fit around something like the Bat-Pod chassis...

What great inspiration!

Ryan, I have a few mice here too, but none of them are as perfect at this one. Most recent mice that weird kidney shape to them. Does anyone know what brand mouse that is?

I'm pretty sure it says "Logitech" on the back, in the first picture. It looks a lot like the Logitech wireless mouse I have at work.

...Found it by searching Google images. G9X Lazer. Sorry for the big pic.

Oh boy, now you are thinking. But unless you get lucky and find one used in a swap meet or yard sale, you are going to have to dish out the big bucks. They have it on EBAY in CHINA for 12.95, just the casing.

The other thing I was going to suggest is that if you made all the right mods to it, then you can perhaps cast it.

hose with question marks next to your names, you have posted to this thread but have not made it clear if you ar joining or not. I have only posted select pieces of what people have said they will work on when they started or have let me know after I made this list, and have not really gone through and updated what you guys are actually working on. I counted 110, including the names with question marks.

If you guys email me what your building and the name of it, I will keep an updated list of who is working on what that I can post each week or two. Email me your name as it appears in my list or if you are not on the list and want to be (and if you are on the list and aren't participating), let me know at Uberdeath322@gmail.com. Any other info you want included in the list, let me know.

You are right, Ryan .. it is a Logitech. It was an alt cover for my mouse that I didn't use. Feel free to use the idea .. it's actually the theme of this to sue anything laying around anyway. :) Probably any old louse laying around might contribute a body fer nuthing ... mine did! :)

I do have to find a better name .. but I have confidence it will come

110 people in this build! I remember when this was just a post in general topics- we had maybe a few interested. It's EXPLODED since then. I can't wait to see what it's gonna be like in little over nine months....

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say GREAT JOB EVERYONE! I am proud to be a part of this.

To quote someone from a whiiiiiile back in the post history- I believe we're breaking a record somewhere.

Keep up all the great work everyone. I'll be back in the fray once I get a few more kits!
