Dirkpitt289
I'm getting a little man wood over these snakes. So tempted to break mine out.... Must ..... Resist.... temptation....
Dr. Cranky
Don't resist, Dirk. You are going to have a blast working on these. They go together real nice, and they look pretty cool. My only warning is that you might not be able to just build one!

Dr. Cranky
I just ordered a few more from the MODEL ROUND UP along with a couple of those Falcons I've been wanting to build. The styrene fun must continue!
Rmodeler
Of course I can tell Dr., that you feel good tunes are an essential part of good modeling. I saw your blue Cobra video (nice! shiny!) .. enjoyed it, but also enjoyed your soundtrack just as much. Now who is it that is doing that cover of "Been a Long Time?" or is it called "Rock and Roll" as on the first Led Zeppelin album?
Dr. Cranky
Thanks, Roger. The band is called SUGARPIE AND THE CANDYMAN and it's a swing version of "ROCKNROLL/HEART BREAKER". Delighted you enjoyed it. Actually, this song could just as easily been done by the Squirrel Nut Zippers!
John Teresi
Dr. ......looks AWESOME...... it just goes to show........that, the good ol` Dr. can build anything........Great job......love that color combo too!
Dr. Cranky
Thanks, John, well, I don't know how much longer the shiny is going to be calling out to me but for now it's probably going to be over a few builds, then it's back to the dark side! LOL!

Zany. ...minutes pass... Hahahahaa .. I LOVE "I Get Around", "Mercy" hell I love them all. btw Have you heard of Don Tiki? Not similar but you make appreciate... Kustom Rodder
Doc a stoplight red cobra with a subtle gold stripe dressed with a set of crager ss 5 spokes would be dripping with carisma. How about a protouring snake just a thought.
Dr. Cranky
Mike, that's in line with what might happen with the next one when the new kits I ordered arrive.

LOL, so far I'm enjoying it, but then the tension gets to my nerves, Mike, which is why I ended switching over to the rusty stuff. But don't worry, I've got plenty of shiny lined up to last me for a good long time.
Dr. Cranky
Speaking of more gloss for your eyes, I am working on finishing a couple of other treats here in the coming days. I will post them in a new thread. Stay tuned in and thanks for all the comments and suggestions, and inspiration. Cheers, DC

Dr. Cranky
It sounds like you have a great build idea right there, Mike. Do it. It's only styrene.
