Headlight lenses

I recently needed to dig up or create a set of lenses for some headlights on a build I was doing. My wife was working on a scrapbook for a friend that just came back from Hawaii and had these "rain drop" stickers she was using.

Joseph you should try this stuff it's great my wife is big into card making/scrapbooking and gave me this to try and it's great , you just pour it into your headlight pan and let it dry (couple of hours ) you can get it at micheals

if your going to try it , it will go on cloudy but will dry clear in a few hours, put a bit more than you would want in the pan cause it does shrink a bit, i just did a 66 nova and used it and it turned out real good

Terry what is the "dry" time for Future when you use it as "glue"?

A few hours but for absolute dry...24 hours. But they come out crystal clear! :D I glue in my windshields and other clear parts with Future also. And it makes a great medium for laying down decals. No air underneath so no silvering. I just don't care for it as a topcoat.

I used some inexpensive LED bulbs from Radio Shack on my Corvette build

You can also use googly eyes (used for making stuffed toy eyes) by removing the backing and eyeball plastic. They come in a mixed bag with a multitude of sizes, available at Hobby Lobby.

Is Mod Podge Dimensional Magic the same thing as the Inkssentials Glossy Accents? I saw the MP stuff at Michaels and I was thinking about using it along with aluminum foil molds to cast headlight lenses.
