maltsr Posted March 23, 2012 Share Posted March 23, 2012 I know I already have a thread in this section but I am having paint issues with my 1939/40 sedan so have moved on to this. I combined the fadeaway fenders from the recently issued 1948 coupe with the convertible kit from a few years ago and modified the front to accept one of the custom grills. This is the result so far. I'm not totally satisfied with the bodywork/paint but I'm on a learning curve here. Looks better in the photos The coupe chassis/suspesion is lowered at the rear and the engine with speed equipment is from the convertible. The paint is my usual Tamiya straight from the can, it's Anodised Blue from the "PS" range sprayed over a gloss black base.
