I bet all those ship in a bottle builders wished that their bottles had a removable bottom to their bottles! Yes I to wish they would reissue these, would get a case of each one........well maybe just one of each!

That dragster is in 1/43rd scale and closely resembles Tony Nancy's car! It has a pretty nice blown hemi and supertrick wheels!

I came across this little gem:

And this seemingly polar opposite twin pack:

The twin pack I found during a Google image search. I couldn't access the original image (PB is blocked at work) and the original page is supposedly a thread on this very messageboard but the link is broken. I would like to find out more information about this as the Chevy pickup looks to have different decals than any other issue.

The twin pack was a K-Mart special...one of several different two packs made for K-Mart over a period of two or three years. The Chevy truck has the same basic decals as the Hot Rod issue, but they were printed in green rather than red. I don't think they were used in any other issues of the kit. The parts were molded in metallic green...the same color used for the Revell 1992 Grand Prix GTP and Monogram Callaway Corvette Speedster.

Neon Dudes? Excellent marketing.

Or something. I have no idea what prompted me to get this. Might have been something given to me, instead. Most likely I blacked out the windows as an experiment for a slammer look. Says "Aston Martin" on the bottom of this one.

AMT and Revell both had XR-3 Escorts.

I think the matchbox is the revell kit, but could be wrong. The AMT kit is a curbside with opening rear hatch - again, I could be wrong.

The revell kit saw a number of boxes and incarnations including an EXP and a Turbo version.
