Moebius '55 Chrysler 300 custom color combo

I recently picked up the new Moebius '55 Chrysler 300 and it is a great kit!I decided to paint it like my Grandfather's '56 Chrysler New Yorker, which was painted coral pink with a black roof.IT was not easy to mix the paint! The first batch came out like Barbie pink,so i had to add dark red and a little black to achieve the coral color i was after. Here it is after the first coat! 2012_0203Spock0054.jpg

I tell you what guys, this kit has one of the most impressive engines I have ever seen. When is the last time an engine had a kit supplied trans fluid dipstick and a road draft tube?Great molding! 2012_0208Spock0055.jpg

What nice detailing of the engine! I've never built or had a kit with a road draft tube or any dipsticks!
