935k3
For anybody that like this stuff apparently they are back in business. I bought my first can today and I like it. It's seems to be allot more durable finish than Alclad.
Joe Handley
Haven't tried that yet, but we got the stuff back in almost a month ago. What did you use for a base coat?
High octane
For anybody that like this stuff apparently they are back in business. I bought my first can today and I like it. It's seems to be allot more durable finish than Alclad. I like it a lot and I've used it on my current build that I hope to have finished soon but I've been quite busy lately with other things. I believe I used a Krylon Shorts (?) black base coat and I bought it at Hobby Lobby.
curt raitz
I prefer it over Alclad, it has a very durable finish...spray it o'er Tamya's TS-55 Dark Blue, makes the chrome finish appear a little cooler than o'er black
Dr. Cranky
Haven't tried it, but I'd like to . . . has anybody done a comparo study between it and Alclad?
935k3
Haven't tried it, but I'd like to . . . has anybody done a comparo study between it and Alclad? I think somewhere here Bob Downey did some comparisons. I used TS-14 gloss black under my first test. I probably will decant and airbrush it for even better results. george 53
WHERE can you find it? Our LHS closed up, and I've never seen it to know what it looks like. Can someone run a pic of it, and where it can be purchased? Is it able to be mailed thru the postal system? Thanks!!!

ZTony8
George-I believe that Prop Shop Hobbies on Van Dyke in Warren might still have a can or two left but it's been a while since I've been there.
espo
I tried it once on a bumper for a '57 Ford. Used TS-14 base coat. Not quite chrome enough for my taste, but maybe with a little more clear it would work. Without an air brush it is a good alternative to Alclad. OneBulkyGuy
Spaz Stix is making a comeback! HRP Distributing purchased the company around the end of March 2012 (a month ago or so). I am also glad to see the chrome paint back in stock and not going away!
charlie8575
I might give this stuff a shot for some unchromed resin parts I have. I like the results I see, and if it's more durable than Al-Clad, it's a bonus. Charlie Larkin
Romell R
I used to use it on lexan RC bodys and that stuff is great! I still have some I might have to give it a try on some of my modeling projects

crazyjim
This sucks! I bought a couple bottles of Alclad a few weeks ago and it looks as if Spaz Stix is better. I might just but some of that Spaz stuff anyway.
Ryan S.
Does the Spaz Stix mirror chome lay down pretty well out of the spray can? I don't have an air brush so having an aerosol based option for chrome would be really nice. Also, has anyone used any of their other paints? I see some of the candy colors that I'd like to try. sak
These are painted with spazstix. I prefer it to alclad.
brodie_83
Has anyone used the SpazStix in the aresol cans? If not, I'll have to get the airbrush stuff.

crazyjim
I used the recently acquired Spaz Stik rattle can on zoomie style headers, front axle, and valve covers, and I like it better than Alclad. Now what to do with the 2 or 3 bottle of Alclad I have.
