maltsr
This has been an on/off project for almost 18 months, mainly due to bodywork and paint issues, it fought me all the way. It's the AMT 1939/40 sedan with a mild chop that was covered in a 'workbench' thread. The old worn out sidetrim was replaced with new styrene rod. The chassis was adapted from the R-M 1937 Ford sedan which had the wheelbase shortened and was narrowed at the rear to accommodate the wheels/tyres from the recent Revell 1936 Ford Convertible/coupe kit. Brake discs are by Pegasus. Paint is Tamiya, Metallic Purple with Translucent Purple clear to darken it and add depth. Thanks for looking! Sixties Sam
Nice, clean rod! Great paint job! The chop is subtle. I would have to see it beside a stock body to notice it. Nice work! Sam

Harold
I kinda cringe sometime when I see the word 'chopped' in the thread title, but this is sublime. So subtle. So good.
