Rick Schmidt Posted May 23, 2012 Share Posted May 23, 2012 (edited) I just got a built up Mercedes SL I thought itwas a Tamiya when I seen it cause I had found this box art But when I got the car I discovered it was a bit different. Mine don't have a seperate engine its a curbside. Also mines roof is molded on with the body It has an odd patterned decal on the seats and was molded in grey. sjordan2 Posted May 24, 2012 Share Posted May 24, 2012 (edited) Looks like a Revell 300SL-24, but could be a Fujimi/Testors 500SL. Is there a number molded on the trunk? I was thinking of redoing it my way and I may still do so in the future but for now she gets to live as she is. BrianC Posted May 24, 2012 Share Posted May 24, 2012 I seem to recall a while ago that a company called Lee produced a few Mercedes kits in a box that had a very similar look to Tamiya.
