Another Airbrush Question

Why is it that my Paasche VL airbrush occasionally allows paint to go up the needle and into the air-valve and trigger area? Help on how to avoid this problem would be appreciated.

The little gasket that is supposed to prevent that is, I'd say, in need of replacement.

The needle seal is adjustable with a small screwdriver. It is a very sensitive adjustment. The trigger assembly has to be removed to get to it. There should be a slight drag when removing and installing the needle. You can see the seal in the parts breakdown on this page.

Thanks Don. That is what I call an education on the inner workings of a Paasche VL airbrush. Now if I just knew how to use it.

It just takes practice. Hang in there. The VL is a good airbrush.
