W-409
This is great build, as usual. The MonkeesMobile is so boring subject, that this kind of conversion looks interesting. I have to do something same styled too, since I have one Monkees Mobile also. Can't wait to see more, you're talents are great.
AUGIEDOGGIE
looking good by the way where did you get the wheels from Edited June 27, 2012 by AUGIEDOGGIE
Psychographic
I've started on the hinge for the hatchback. I started by adding small lengths of tubing to hold the wire for the hinge. The hinge wire and the tube that mounts to the body. Ready to mount to the body. The initial fit. A shot with the hatch open. Kaleb
Aiee chihuahua what a build. Now I regret trading that monkee mobile. Keep up the good work.
Psychographic
I spilled MEK on the back glass. :( I had the rear window wrapped in masking tape to keep it from getting scratched, if I hadn't, the whole thing would have melted. Not that it matters.

Pat Minarick
Still cutting things apart. This kit is addicting isn't it?
Psychographic
This kit is addicting isn't it? It sure is! The interior floor sits higher than the door sills. I guess this means I've got a channeled floor without doing anything. Edited June 29, 2012 by Psychographic
Gothic Kustomz
One word man, SIC!, about time some one used their imagination around here, best 15 min I spent looking at pic's in a long time, thank you man great work......
Psychographic
While I ponder the door hinges, lets do something about that ugly hatch hinge. An overhead panel could hide it and add a little styling to the interior as well.
Psychographic
Almost forgot, the door jambs are roughed in.
Psychographic
I decided to make a full custom interior, what better place to start than the dashboard. With no direction in mind, I started cutting and cementing, this is what I have so far.

Foxer
I finally looked in on this ... NO monkey business here! I like the idea of doing a custom custom, but you've taken it to a whole new level ... now I'm hooked .. and I like how it looks!
Psychographic
I threw some rod on the door panels to see how it would look with the door panels blending into the dash. I like it so far.
