Jordan White
Hey, I'm building the 1/12 GT500 and have some questions about the Mustang that I hope may be answered. 1) What is mounted to the bottom of the spare tire well? 2) Is the fuel tank mounted in front of the axle one large tank, or two separate tanks? 3) What are the four lines running along the driver's side frame rail? I know there is brakes and fuel line, but how many of each and what other lines would there be? Thanks, if I think of more, I'll ask them. rhs856
Try putting this in 1:1 Car Reference Pictures. There are a lot of good people there that could answer your questions and/or snap some pics of their car for you.
Jordan White
I would but I have plenty of pics, just need some clarification on a few things. Plus General gets more traffic.
dave riggs
1) EVAP canister, (formally known as the charcoal canister). 2)Yes fuel tank, unknown about one or two. 3)Two fuel lines, (pressure, and return) one brake line, and I believe that the last would be EVAP line (They still feed to the intake)
Jordan White
Thanks Dave, I suppose they would have made it just a single tank for easier placement so I'm going to assume it is for my build.
Fat Brian
I can't image it would have two tanks with only one filler neck and if it did it would need two more fuel lines and another evap line.
Jordan White
Yeah I figure as much, I guess it's just the way they modeled it that it looks like two tanks. All the pictures I find though have the shields and driveshaft in the way, so I wasn't positive though.
