Hello, this is my second post on Model Cars forum. Lot of nice stuff on here.
Well this is what I'm working on right now,trying to keep some of the Monkeemobile look.
Hope you like it.

It's going to be a delivery. I shorten up the rear ,then the front.
I added an extra set of rear wheel opening up front and getting rid of the headlights ,also making a forward opening hood.

Interesting. Can you show us how you hinged the hood/nose?

Just puting the station wagon roof on it makes a huge difference ! I like where you are headed with this .

Plastic covered with BMF and then coated with clear red looks pretty good as a taillight.

I like to stack clear red plastic between flat sheets then glue that into an opening in the body ,then grind it to fit.IMG_1884.jpg

You can polish the red plastic and push it out from the back .paint the body then slide them back in.

Found some transparent red protractors to make my taillights! Just got them roughed in.

Man what a difference some creative work can do . i never liked this car but i really can't wait to see where

this one goes .Awesome taillights and a roof so long it should be a surf board for the whole band.

Also digging the Halibrands...
