Myers Manx

Recommended Posts

First time post to this group, but I've been following it for a long time. I'm blown away by the quality of the work from the modelers here.

Here are some pics of my Myers Manx. Built pretty much box stock, but I added some engine wiring, seat belts and instruments. Paint is Testors One-Step Lime Ice with One-Step Clear. The paint is great, but the metal flakes would be a bit big for my taste for anything but a dune buggy or a bass boat.

Comments, good and bad, are welcome. Thanks for looking.

Welcome Larry! And thanks for posting, I like your model very much! I just started my Meyers "Manx" yesterday as a matter of fact, I already misplaced the directions! Your photos will help, I couldn't quite figure out the back seat and now I see! I plan to build it much like yours. I was thinking street legal. The green on your's looks great and I love  the engine detail. I am kind of a VW nut any way. ;) Nice work on yours!

Looks really nice ! The green is the perfect color for a Manx . Glad to see more of these showing up , they kind of disappeared for a while !

There was a really good thread in the "Kit Review" section a few months ago .
