If it is going to be a shop truck, why not build it with a flatbed? Is it going to look like it was "restored" or look like some parts thrown together like a rat rod?

Good luck with your build and hope you find your parts!

Not sure if you plan to or not, but you need to do a blackwash on the wheels so they look a little better. Same with the grill. It's lookin good so far.

doing it to the wheels now, but the grill really has no need to it looks right through into the radiator. im going to be putting the headlight bezel trim in black though.

Another update. Got the wheels black washed and put some silver on the lug nuts and the dust caps. Also put the photo etch on the hood. What an adventure.

Fixed the paint problem on the cab and hood. Will have to reattach the photo etch. Orange peeled before. Just scuffed and repainted beforr:2012-08-11080221.jpg

Great looking truck. If you wanted to get wild, maybe find the twin-scoop Hemi engine from an AMT '53 Studebaker kit. They shouldn't be that hard to find, and I bet it'd all fit under the hood.
