northendmetalallstar
My friend wanted to give his Dad, who is retired, a model of the truck he drove back in the 70's. He found the kit he wanted, The Revell Snaptite Mack R series tanker, and asked me if I would build it for him. This was my first commissioned work, LOL I had to cut the sleeper off, shorten the frame and add a few other touches to replicate the original truck. Everything is done in various Alcad finishes and the cab is painted Testors Red Enamel

BigBad
Nice Mack! very cleanly built. Those R series looked pretty good, they were recognizable from a distance and nothing else looked quite like it. Not quite a classic like the B but close. Chariots of Fire
James II: Believe it to be 1/32 scale if it was a snap kit. That is a super clean build. Very nice work, Jay!

Very nice work, Jay!Indeed. In the '80s my Dad used the tractor kit, to create an Israeli Tank transporter, which was publicized in one of the Verlinden Books. Great job Jay!
