Auto ID #65 FINISHED!

Recommended Posts

Ok... a few people remembered that I already used the car I posted for ID#65 (1956 Saab Sonett).

So let's try this again.

Remember... don't post any hints or answers here! PM me with exact year, make and model (all three needed to get credit!).

The answer: 1934 Brewster Town Car

I knew the Saab that you posted right off when I first saw it this afternoon, but the public computer I was on kept timing out when I tried to respond. I was really surprised to log on this evening to find a DIFFERENT Mystery car posted! That's OK though, since I knew what this one was right away too!

I agree with both the locomotive/cow catcher and "Cruella DeVille" analogies. Here's my thought on it's looks: They say that an Edsel looked like "an Oldsmobile sucking a lemon"... Take a good look at the grille - Could it also be said that the front end of this car looks like a 30's-era BMW sucking a lemon?
