For a beam axle, or a straight-axle drag car...

After removing the molded-on spindles, measure....

....cut some appropriately sized styrene channel......

....drill everything to .030"........

....round the ears of the spindles made from channel and assemble with .030" wire or straight pins....

....glue a stub-axle of the right diameter to work with your wheels, and an appropriate center to mount backing plates or calipers....

TaaaaaaDaaaaa.....Of course you have to cut the kingpin to the right length, etc.

....same basic idea with modified kit parts. Pinhead makes a reasonable upper kingpin end. Clip the bottom.

Looking for a-frame type suspension upper and lower A-frames. I am building a scratch frame. I am drawing a blank on what to use & how to build a frames. I am going to used evergreen rod & tube for the materials for upper frame I think. I am building a east coast modified race car, body is 36 chevy. The model king or asa type suspension.

Thank everyone who has posted. charlie
