Tony Stewart Rookie Car

I don't build many modern Nascars.....I prefer short track racers, plus I don't have the patience for all the plumbing, lol....but I DO kinda like Tony Stewart. This is his 1999 Home Depot Rookie Of The year car, built about 8 years ago. Revell kit with Slixx decals. Plumbing, seat belts, and hood pins are Detail Master. I should have used 2 decals sheets, because the stripes bleed through the numbers, but oh well.

Nice job, I 'm also a Stewart fan and built this one as his first win (Richmond Sept. 1999). I wound up using two sets of decals to avoid the bleed through problem. Once again your car looks great.

Great looking car Tommy. Tony is my favorite of the current drivers. I miss Pontiac (and Olds, Buick, Plymouth, Mercury, et al)

Excellent build. I saw this car back in 99 at T.m.s. I was listening to ward on the headphones and he was cussing tony out for cutting him off.

I am NOT a Stewart fan. But you did an exellent job on that build! You put in some serious time with those engine details. Fantastic work to say the least. I hope you make more modern NASCARs!

Thank you. I used a Detail Master hood pin kit, which uses sewing needles for the pins and has photoetch plates.
