Nice project and some excellent scratch building skills.

The mud flaps on the front are to stop the spray and mud from being thrown forward off the tyres hitting the headlights etc as the truck moves along the road.

Thanks guys for the kind words .Ive not been able to do any work on the mack as ive been movein house .

As for casting it Ben im not sure it would cost a fortune to do and to buy and not only that but it would be very heavy

I may ask howard of KFS how much it would be just to hear him laugh at me lol

Hi dave the chassis was a tamiya king hauler but i have got new longer chassis rails and the body is compleatly scratch built from flat plasticard. The hood opens as do all the doors and the roof of the sleeper opens to gain access to the battery .Im also going to do all the electrickery myself so all the lights will work hopefully ha ha thats the plan anyway ! As for the paint im still undesided . Ive not been working on it for a while now as ive been moving house but i should be back on it soon and i will post more pics when some progress has been made . Thanks for the intrest
