Hello,

I just joined, it looks like a great site. I've just gotten back into building after 20+ years. This is my first effort. I think it turned out alright, lol. I BMF'd the trim, shaved the door handles and added ones from a diecast model parts bin. :D

Great looking model Gene, welcome to the club. What part of O? I grew up in Dayton, but haven't lived there for a long time.

Looks great! Seperate door handles really made a difference on this one.

I live in Sidney if you know where that is? It's about 35 miles north of Dayton. And thanks for the kind words guys, it is appreciated. Since it seems the 1:24 diecast are drying up I figured I'd get back into building models. That way I can add some that weren't made in diecast, like the Buick. It fits right in with my '70 GM diecast muscle cars. Here it is with a couple of my diecast models. :D

I'm awaiting my trade for this kit so I can build it...I love the GSX! My favorite GM muscle car of the 70's! Yours looks fantastic! The first picture almost looks real!

Hey Roger, we'll have to hook up sometime. We've got a group that goes up to the show in Toledo twice a year, have you ever been up? It's a great show.

Really nice work!
