The Report function of the forum works well. If you see someone acting up, acting out, or just being an okole, use the Report function. It works! I have it set up so it not only sends me an email, but that email is then marked with a flag, and get's put to the top of my email list. I will try to access/look at the report/topic as soon as possible, but remember, I'm on a six hour time delay, and other mods not only have a life, but a real job as well.  k den

Freightliner Powerliner conventional?

Here's a pic of a prototype Powerliner conventional I found in Wheels of Time magazine. Never produced but I thought would be a neat project using Italeri's FLC kit.

Who knew there was such a beast! From the picture, I see fenders similar to a 70's Kenworth W900. If I saw correctly, this was to be offered with 600-700 hp? In those days, that was seldom heard of!

Wow, that's out of the ordinairy! Too bad the Powerliner didn't have a go at it. It would make a good modeling subject with the Italeri kit though. On the other hand it's a good thing the prototype in the last picture didn't make it either! Thanks Leo!

Cabovers were still the standard at the time so at least we got the coe powerliner. An ambitious project would be to model the various prototypes.
