Anything complete enough to be cleaned up and displayed as a nice survivor?

Hey Snake, ya there are alot of those drag cars in there that will probably end up as parts. The 60 f100 is really nice, 40 Ford Pickup and the light blue 34. I think the strange car hauler too but I'm not sure yet.

Got another tamiya karmann ghia, unfortunately the roof got damaged in the post but the seller was 100% and gave a full refund. I've also got more tamiya bugs and a revell mk1 on the way along with a 3d printed golf rallye body and some special order air cooled type wheels in larger sizes. Theres a recent arrival foose pick up that came with a nice set of tweezers free from davecoleysemporium ebay shop and a box of goodies from spot model. also a resin mk3 golf 3 door since the one I'm building from the fujimi kit has snowballed into a bigger project and some mr weathering pencils. I think that it for now

Amazon had these for $20 (still does, in fact) and I figured it would be a decent basis for a more detailed oval build

I think it’s the same frame and running gear as the other MPC oval trackers?

Correct on the chassis

My custom order wheels arrived from Dimitry at diolex production today. He already does these rims in15" sizes but I asked if it would be possible to get them in 17" for the radas and raiders (both sets of 5 spokes) and 18" for the brmsDSC06493.JPG.68de427cb56d7b6cb935185138605e3d.JPG

I also got one of the mk2 golf rallye 3d prints which is for the fujimi golf kits

And from ARM in france I got a 3dr mk3 golf resin but the rear windows look too short to me

Honda Z (N360) resin kit direct from Japan!  It was called the AZ 600 Coupe in the USA.  I had tried to order from his website, but couldn't figure out how to accomplish it using PayPal.  Then COVID locked down shipping from Japan, recently opened up.  Contacted Akira Mizorogi on Facebook, he provided great service.  It looks like an awesome kit, even by styrene standards.  Has a choice of wheel/tires, seats, lenses, photo-etch badges.  Has the 2 cylinder too.  The spare tire has a p-e strap, plus a jack.  But has the RHD dash.  Now I need to find the article that I saved from the day......

I saw these oddball kits at the pawn shop/thrift shop a few blocks from my house the other day and I'd never heard of either of them before and wasn't particularly interested in them. I've never even seen model kits at that store before. The guy saw me looking and asked me what they were worth and I said "nothing to me, they're opened and who knows what's missing".

I've heard of the Renault truck, but I thought Italeri made that and I never heard of that kind of car. The owner walked up and said he was going to throw them away but I told him I'll give him a buck each for them. Looking through the boxes, it looks like everything is there.

Great swap fodder, John! SOMEBODY here will want them and offer to trade you something you want for them.

Picked up one of those Tamiya weathering sets to try out - excited to see how it works:

And ordered myself an AMT 57 Chevy seeing as there’s that one thread talking about them right now:

Molded in mint green, which I wasn’t expecting!

Picked these two up today, think the Concord is going to be more of a VIP style build and will need to take a look at HobbyLink for their VIP accessories. Now, the Fury is going to be box stock other than rolling stock, May look at Pegasus for those.
