Went to a small outdoor swap meet this morning after seeing info about it.  Not a lot of vendors, but one guy was giving stuff away.  Probably the first and last time I'll run into that.

Yes, that's an AMT '28 Ford sedan at the right.  There's an MPC '28 pickup behind it, which is based on the sedan.  The yellow cabriolet is Monogram.  The smaller car is a Pyro '34 Ford Victoria, one of the more desirable cars from that series.

All of these have bad chrome and are dusty (may have sat on a shelf before being boxed up later) but they're pretty well assembled.  The doors open and close on the sedan, there are some loose parts but everything is there.  The guy who built them managed to make all of the parts stay with them without overdoing the glue.

Always liked the 28 Sedan. Another that’d be nice to see cloned. Amazed those hinges survived. Nice hit Mark.  That a diecast brass era landau Packard in back?

The '28 sedan has both upper hinge tabs intact!  I've got an unbuilt one with one broken off.

The "brass" car is a small plastic toy painted gold.  It's marked "Peugeot" underneath.  The other small one is metal, but it's generic.  It does have a pencil sharpener built in, though.

I was in the market for some rubber-black paint and found this set fairly cheap online…more and more Vallejo paints seem to be finding their way into my paint rack lately.

I didn’t really NEED the rust or gunmetal colors right now - but metal tones and rust tones are always useful too!

@Mark Same with my 28.
Useless fact-Peugeot started business as a pepper mill company. Still make them. Weird coincidence- my wife and I owned Peugeot 504’s new 15y and 2000mi apart before we met.

Nice score! The Hubley roadster is a good find too. I try to buy up all the Hubleys I can find. But then again I'm partial to Model A Fords anyways!

@Claes Ericsson Those are cool, resin conversions of the 36, 48 Merc maybe? And the 39 Ford. Holthaus Caribbean too. Where’d you stumble across those?

The 36 is resin, the 39 nose is at least resin. I have yet to check the 42 but that might be a conversion from the IMC kit. I got the lot from a friend who's downsizing. He, in turn, got the Fords at a 1:1 car swap meet some years ago....

Yep, it's IMC - I recognize that separate windshield frame. I bet the side panels of the grille were made from the '57 Buick grille in the AMT Custom Bumpers and Grilles pack.

IRONY!!

Being the owner of a 68 Coronet convertible I have been on the lookout for affordable kits or builders since the mid 80's. I have found and restored a couple builders over the years but never a kit until now. Of course is was just a couple weeks after it was announced that a re-tooled version was on the way.

Found locally "in the wild" as part a very reasonably priced lot of models from various eras.

The 68 Coronet is missing the interior tub (I have a spare) and the 68 Barracuda is missing the hood other wise they look complete.

I picked this up off of FB Marketplace and got it in the mail yesterday. Sealed inside. One of my favorites and have been looking for another at a good price for a while.

Later-
