DrKerry
Imagine Bo and Luke driving along running from Roscoe when all of a sudden they blow out a left front tire and sending them into a clump of trees. Sending then into the air and landing on the right rear quarter, then being catapulted into the air again landing on the left rear finally coming to rest on the tires. Then the car sat behind the barn, forgotten. Here's what you might come accross..... Hope you like...

Joe Handley
That's probably pretty realistic considering how many they went through between the TV Show and Movie
wheaton79chris
3 movies Joe although two of them aren't much mentioned
Joe Handley
I kinda consider two of those movies as part of the TV Show, the other movie was more of an abomination and insult than a movie to me
wheaton79chris
The Doh the begginings didn't hit me too well. None of my friends cared for it either. And as far as the new movie...............Jessica Simpson really?

Dirkpitt289
WOW, that is fantastic and probably the most realistic General Lee I've ever seen.
dmk
Cool build. The whole idea just makes me chuckle. The Duke boys were a bit full of themselves with their driving skills. This kind of takes them down a notch. That's probably pretty realistic considering how many they went through between the TV Show and Movie Something like 300+ Chargers were destroyed for the cause due to this show. http://en.wikipedia....The_General_Lee It was an entertaining show and I enjoyed it as a kid, but it wasn't worth the destruction of all those Chargers. DrKerry
Thanks everyone. I agree with the movies that are out. I have all the seasons on DVD but not the movies. If it didn't have the original crew it isn't the Dukes of Hazzard..
JM485
Awesome! Definately looks the part. So are you telling me that I can't take a stock 69 charger, jump it over a creek and drive away cleanly?!

ll Brandon ll
Wow, that looks awesome. How did you get the plastic to look like bent metal?
DrKerry
I use a hand held torch that is used for heating shrink tubing for electrical work. I heat the body and push in on it with the edge of a desk, handle of my hobby knife, the torch itself or whatever I can use. Then I paint it and scratch it along an edge of a sidewalk to get the scratches in the paint. Then I do the weathering effects.
wheaton79chris
Question for you Drkerry. In stead of scraping along the side walk wouldn't it be easier to keep a brick in your work area. Less bending down just have it right there
kilrathy10
This is an example of just superb weathering...You've pulled it off quite well...Awesome work...
