Len Geisler Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 (edited) This first build is built from the Boyds 32 Ford kit It uses the rear slicks and wheels from the old AMT 5-7...I think they look right at home here.... Front wheels and tires from the parts box, injection and exhaust from the AMT 55 Chevy Nomad. Painted Tamiya Lime Green, no clear for that "suede" look.....Overall for a quick build I am pretty happy with it.... Now the other side of the coin......RAT ROD...... This bad boy was built from the parts box....Lindberg 32 for the cab and chassis, engine from the Switcheers T Bucket wheels from the AMT stock 32 Ford 5 window. Paint is Hot Rod grey Duplicolor.... slicks from putting some parts box tires in the Dremel tool and adding a file....Works pretty well....Metallic red "Diner Booth" bench seat, sorry I dont have a better pic...... And finally the brothers together..... These were the last 2 kits I finished before the 2 Vettes i posted the other day. Almost a year, but I seem to be back in the groove and makin some progress.... And for my last trick a modified Hot Wheels Escallade.... Tough to see in this pic, but I faded some Tamiya Gunmetal Paint around the lowers of this body, gives it a nice flair.... Also swapped wheels with a "Truckin" 1/64th diecast pick up, and paionted the interior with SEM buckskin... Hope you like 'em..... As alwsys, questions, comments and constructive critisims always welcome Edited August 29, 2007 by Len Geisler
Steve H. Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Geisler pulls off a Hat Trick! Nice stuff, especially the green 32. Everything about that one just looks right! Its a good feeling when you break the slump, isn't it?
