pharoah
Nice truck! I always wanted to build a wrecker, but the boom and all the cables kind of scare me. I don't know that much about them. Keep it up!
Nick Winter
Thanks Paul and Mike, how did u make those hubs Pieces of Round strip styrene. Nice truck! I always wanted to build a wrecker, but the boom and all the cables kind of scare me. I don't know that much about them. Keep it up! Thanks, I mearly searched out as many photo's of the 1:1 counter part and was lucky enough to find a similar design wrecker in a scrapyard to which I was able to run the cables out by hand and see how it worked (the PTO was disengaged) Cleared a few and have gone back tinkering. added the visor to cover the top edge of the glass were the issues are, also started working on the Holmes 480 Twin Boom Mechanical Sling wrecker.
