cappy625
very nice! what did you use on the fuel tanks?they look like real alluminum.
ewaskew
very nice! what did you use on the fuel tanks?they look like real alluminum. Thanks for the comment. I used Dupli Color Chrome painted over Dupli Color Primer The tanks were striped using Easy off oven cleaner then filling the seams and sanded smooth. Use thin coats untill you get the look you want. Be sure it is REAL DRY before you mess with the parts or it will rub off and its back to the start.

ewaskew
Nice looking truck. I like the fenders, how did you get the rolled edge on them! Thanks for all the comments everyone. The way I get the edge on any plastic is first I make a pencil mark on the edge's to keep them even. Put a piece of tape on the mark. Then take a file and rough it in. Then 150 Grit sand paper to shape it a little closer. Then as I get the parts ready for paint I keep working the edges untill there the way I want them. ewaskew
Earl, That's a great looking pete, and I like the paint job. Is that one of your headack rack you make? Thanks for the comments everyone. The Headache rack / toolbox is scratch built like the real one on the truck I drive its still not finished yet. Other scratch built parts include Battery box,air tanks and steps for the air tanks, rear fenders. The air tanks and steps for them include about 52 different pieces to make a set for both sides of the truck.
