pandamonium2112
Someone asked how to paint tiny parts. Here's something i've been doing for years, it's not a new idea but i figured i'd post it anyway.. Here's the items you need, which we all probably have laying around. Cut up some old pieces on spur into 2 inch lengths (or whatever you desire) Cut the head of the straight pin with snips Then you hold the other end with pliars and heat it up with a lighter and push it into the end of the spur. Find aan old piece of Styrafoam and push holes in it with a pencil. Now you can push the sharp end of the pin into the part you want to paint (usually at the glue point) Then you can spray or brush paint, when done, prop the spur in the styrafoam to dry. I made this in about 5 minutes..Hope this helps anyone...

Danno
Great tip, Steve. I've been using that technique for years, too, but ... I use cut-up kit part "trees" instead of sprues or spurs or ...
pandamonium2112
Exactly...Quote from another referenced post... "Oh well... I wouldn't get too worked up or waste any time worrying about weird word usage..." Somehow the point gets across
