I see a lot of members are posting what they accomplished in the past year so I thought I'd do the same. This group will give you some idea of my style(s) of building. I built some new on the market kits, some original old annual kits, some resin trans kits & some rebuilds of cars I found on Ebay. I ended the year with 23 total builds so I will be posting their photos in three posts...in no particular order. I hope you enjoy.

WOW Ron!!!

23 builds in one year? You've been a busy boy! And they're all great!

The '67 wagon is my personal fav, I've gotta get one & convert to a '68 someday...

Who made the '58 Fury resin kit?

Thanks for sharing these super-nice builds, congrats on a productive year! B)

Thank you guys, I really appreciate your comments! When I decided to do a "year in review" I had no idea how many builds I had done & was very surprised that I finished 23 of them. I hope you liked my selections as I try to change things up now & then, trying to avoid burn out. I've got a lot of builds planned for 2013 so you will be seeing plenty of posts from me in the coming months. Right now on my work bench I have an original 1960 Impala convertible rebuilder, a 98 Saleen Mustang & a 70 Dodge Super Bee.

Jeff, the 58 Sport Fury I believe was from Art Anderson at All American, if I'm not mistaken. I was buying loads of stuff from him back in the late 80's & early 90's. I had actually started that build many years ago & had it painted way back then. It got put on the back burner until last year when I found it stuffed away in it's original box. On the subject of the 68 Chevy wagon...I've seen one on Ebay from R & R Resin, just haven't stepped up to buy one yet. I want to convert one to an Estate Wagon to replicate the car I took my driving test in when I was 16. One of these days...

Thanks Terry. I almost would prefer Revell to do the reissues anymore as they have really stepped up to the plate & improved their game. AMT seems to reissue with no upgrading where Revell is doing all new tooling, like on their 63 Impala. Very nice kit with a lot of detail. When I was a kid I really didn't like Revell at all. their kits were bad fitting & not proportioned correctly & a general pain in the rear to build. Not so much these days. Maybe the merger with Monogram was just what they needed.
