hi all this build was based on the dan fink's speed wagon , since i already build that kit ounce and got this one with a buy of several kits at ounce i decided to really go all out ..

i did not start with a real set plan .

the kit :

not finished in this picture but i love the picture so ...

after the clear coat on the wood was dry

and the end pictures from today , i have not done any wiring yet , that will have to waight i dont have the correct wires ..

some self made / added stuff :

altered the stock headers and gave them bend pipes

added carbs on the block and made a scoop out of an old truck light

steering arm from the cabine

the radiator brace

completely build the wooden body from scratch (first time)

the end pictures where shot with grey skyes , today i woke up and saw the sun shining and blue skyes ...

so i took some better shots where the colors are more alive in

and now the exhaust is there as reference you can see that the body really shines and does reflect (something that doesnt show on most pics)

Beautiful build, Richard. Really like your details, woodwork & finish.

I would not want to take that surfboard in the water, though.

hey , thnx !

and yes i didnt use the knock off spinners because i didnt feel they looked right on this particulair build ..

i know ,, it kinda needs them since there are no lug nuts ..

maybe i will make somehing different in the center , it will get some work done in the future with cables and stuff (when i have the rights stuff)
