kilrathy10
I just had to post this truck with the livestock trailer I built....Some of you have seen it with the Bealle tanker, but I could never decide which I liked best...Oh, I also widened this trailer so as to better match the 1/24 scale tractors....I used Italeri rims and tires....All I have to do is make the overhead door for it...Never got around to it, for some reason.... uncle potts
Thats a really nice trailer. Just an fyi, that trailer is a representation of a 1970's era livestock trailer. what it is missing is the interior detail, the kit is basically a shell. The 1:1 has an upper deck, ramps, gates, and and a gate/ ramp comination in the front that allows the driver to load the nose of the trailer, called a counter balance gate. These were also steel trailers and were often painted red with a white roof. I've always wanted to build one myself, however a bench full of started projects and a day at work repairing these things tends to damper my enthusiasim. That and the fact I haven't purchased one yet. I always thought it would be interesting to build a modern version, but none of the components used in the kit are accurate fora newer trailer, since the construction is totally different. Nice job on this one, its nice to see these when finished. Paul

catd11rpusher
JT there you go again, nice truck. love the stand you put them on. I'm going to do that. I am getting better on doing my homework on the trucks details. But with my club hands it sometimes is very hard to put little things together. LOVE THE WORK JT
