I'm from Sioux City, and we've got a decent hobby shop here in town, but there seems to be mainly military modelers in my area. I know how you feel, I don't know any other model builders close to me either, my friends like to look at what I'm building but they never want to join in. I'm still really bummed that the Omaha show and swap in Feb was cancelled, its the only one I made it to This forum is a really great place though, you sure get to see a lot of talent and ideas here ! Too bad about the show that was cancelled next month. Ther is one in Bellvue in October, Dave just posted it today, maybe we'll se you there. farmer1 Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 I've known about the Bellvue show now for a couple years but I never make it, wrong time of year for me, too busy sitting in the combine to take a day off.
