Speed Racer MACH 5-- 1950 Oldsmobile

Here's another model I got done recently. It is a MACH 5 1950 Oldsmobile from REVELL with Polar Lights decals. The hood ornament is the homing bird from the Polar Lights kit. I like the models I do to have that Rat Rod or lived in look. This is my idea of the perfect MACH 5. Go Speed Racer Go!

I really like this one. Folks are building phantoms all the time. Why not a phantom Mach 5? Well done.

Silly Mark, that's not his father's Oldsmobile! :P

Love how this one looks.

Fun. I could see it peeling down Daytona Beach.

Wow, that's cooler than cool- it's freakin' neat!!! Not just another cookie-cutter '50 Olds custom or hot rod- why can't I think of things like that to build?

With the dirt, rust and brush paint theme, it looks like it could be a demo derby car!

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for looking. I am from Battle Creek, MI by the way and if you couldn't tell, love Speed Racer.
