This project was started by another builder and passed of to me. I had fun taking his beginning and finishing it. Based on an MPC WWII Jeep it is a representation of the popular Philippine people mover.

Nice build on your Jeepney. I spent 2 years in the Philippines and these Jeepney's were all over the place. Most of them were all chrome plated or SS with very little paint plus they would have riders hanging off the back on the sides with about 20 people altogether.

That is a very cool model of an unusual subject. I first heard of these things maybe 25 years ago after some friends visited the Philippines and told me about them.

Very nice model. Although I think the real things are ugly I kinda like this one.Great job with all the scratchbuilding. Are the horses HO scale?

Thanks for the kind comments :) This was only possible because of what I got to start with. The Horses came from an Esci kit of a Toyota Bj-44. Next time I get to town I will be looking at the doll house shop for some miniature baskets and bales to go on the roof and maybe a pig and some chickens :)

Awesome project. I've rode in several of these in the Philippines and your build looks great.

I remember they all had some kind of booming sound system and interior lighting effects. A small box is attached to the dash for the fare $
