Dominik
Hi everybody, i was busy at the beginning of the new year, so i will present you today one of two last builts from 2012. Lets start with the 1965 Mustang (ex-Hertz GT 350). Take a look at it, before i lay my hands on it: Now, what have i done? I did a "downsizing"...changes the wheels, removed the scoop on the hood, gave him a vinyl roof (i know, its not a extra option for it) and another grill. I smoothed the bumbers and painted it with alclad chrome, also painted the interior in a timless brown. The most work were i has fun was to change the V-8 into a straight six. The Engine had to built out of a 54 Chevy Bel Air into a Ford engine. Some wirings and - voila - here it goes... my Grocery getter from Miss Hertz (thats, while it is lettered on the plates), her 65 Mustang. Her beloved son John is the one, who gave her car a sporty touch. He mounted the scoops on the quarterpanels, changed the stockgrill Have fun with the pictures. A look inside: And a look of my favorite thing of the car: Thank you for your attention buddies Comments (good or bad doesnt matter) always welcome. Say what you think

JunkPile
Years ago, a Mustang with a vinyl roof and a 6 cylinder engine would spark no interest with me. Today I look at it differently. Age must be a factor. Cool build and original ideas.
Tom Geiger
I wouldn't mind driving that today! Pretty much a Mustang fastback that someone added Shelby windows to. I remember people doing that. It's good that you put hub caps on it because a six cylinder Mustang would have had four lug wheels. Nice save of a junker! W-Machine
Wonderful rescue of a wounded Mustang. I, too, like the straight six.

Eric Macleod
I agree that to turn a V-8 Shelby into a strait six would normally be an abolination. You have done this one justice!

Guest Johnny
Sweet looking Mustang. Didn't someone use to make the Ford 200 ci six?
Duntov
This is neat for a couple of reasons..... It is very accurate and well built...and..... there were probably a lot more six cylinder Mustangs built than those with the monster motors!!!! charlie8575
That looks great, Dominik! I especially like the vinyl top, which on the fastbacks, at least from what I've seen, aren't very common. Interesting point about 4-lug wheels on the 200s, Tom, I never knew that.
