These are oldies but goodies and fit in with my replica stocks. 1st is a Mini-Exotics California Special using an AMT 66 Mustang Chassis. 2nd AMT/MPC 73 Cougar box stock and last but not least, the Revell Lincoln Pro Street converted to a stock Mk VII LSC.

Al, can I talk you into posting some more pics of that Cougar? (Engine, interior, chassis?) We don't see many built ones on here, and yours looks especially nice.

Monty, your wish is my command, except I don't do engines or chassis since my stroke. But here's some more pictures of the Cougar.

Al

Thanks, Al! That grille really makes the model stand out when it's detailed correctly, doesn't it? You've got some nice stuff in your collection. Did I see an early '80s Imperial in one of your other posts? Where'd that come from?

Have you considered replicating your Porsche? Looks like a beautiful car.

Monty,

The Imperial is an old F&F slush cast that was pretty nicely done for the $5.00 I paid for it. My Porsche is already in the works.

Lee,

The Cougar was painted in Testors auto lacquer Teal. I don't know the exact paint color name though.

That is a beautiful Cougar ! Love the color . I also like the California Special , my dad almost bought one back when they were new ! And a nice job converting the Lincoln back to stock !

Nice job on all of them!

Another way to make to improve that Cougar is to add the body colored splash apron to the bumper, like so-

Note- I don't want to highjack Al's thread with these pics. I only want to demonstrate one more thing you could do to make the Cougar look more realistic. Keep it about Al's models, thanks! B)
