1961 Chevy Impala

Well here's one of my cars I completed nothing fancy and I'm no expert on taking pictures. New here so I'm open to learn and comments suggestions are welcome. :)

It looks good in black and I love those 409's !

Try some black wash to really make those wheels pop ! Just thin some black paint until it is real watery and let it flow into the spokes with a small brush , any excess can be easily wiped off before it dries . It's easy and I think you'll like the results !

Looks good. Bob is spot on about the wash on the wheels. It will make all the difference in the world.

Ditto, plus Bare Metal Foil on the trim. Nice work otherwise. Some basic ignition wiring would help too.

The most popular tips are given - now let the practice following, step by step ;)

The washing with thin black you also can take on grills. Looks defenly more realistic.

I'm doing this kit now. I just started back modeling now that I'm retired. I found this kit and a 66 Impala SS396 kit for my first two builds as I owned both cars in the past. I have some pictures of both car so I'm making both of them as close as I can to the pictures as I can. Nice job on yours.
