I love the extra effort you are putting into this project! Here's a few pictures of mine that I built box stock a few years back. I think you will like the color!

Thanks for your positive comments!!

I few "assorted" updates:

Painting the reflectors. I used Vallejo liquid masking tape:

And the result:

A bit late i decided to open the front grill:

A little sanding in the back...to this:

I'm never been fan of Revell's "bling bling" wheels:

A few minutes submerged in chlorine (not shure how it is called in english) to strip the chrome and a few coats of testors silver enamel:

Suspension with the classic corvette's.....hummmm.....also don't know that word.....=( you know what i mean:

Vallejo liquid masking tape also was used to mask the interior:

The basic colors applied:

And starting with detail painted. I sprayed a coat of Ts-13 Tamiya clear with the airbrush to protect the acrylic paint because i'm thinking in making some light-shadow effects with oleum paints:

More soon!

Hi,

Very impressive work on the C6 - I've got one of these in the loft, plus a zr1 that I assume is basically the same kit so I'll be watching this thread carefully! You got lots of general tips as well, so keep up the good work.

Cheers,

Jim
