jrherald420
Thanks, I mixed that color by hand using Gold, silver and a touch of gunmetal and hand painted it with a brush, no masking. I was following what another member did with there build of this kit. It really sets the undercarriage off.
wgflatliner
it looks good. The stance was already touched on. The only other thing i would do is maybe sand down the tread or dullcoat the tires to make them look more realistic or "used." Good job otherwise! jrherald420
Thank you for pointing that out!! lol I had all the stuff out to do it and was side tracked. When i sat back down i forgot what i was doing and ended up just putting all the stuff away!! Ill post some updated "fixed" pictures later tonight. cobramike
Thank you. Your right the stripe does not go down over the black. I noticed it looked funny after it was done and already dried. I then checked my photos and found that its wrong. Don't know why something as simple as that was over looked in the directions. It will be removed when i black out the insides of the exhaust tips. That black line on the spoiler is actually an integral functioning part of the the spoiler called a "Gurney Flap", on actual car it helps to streamline the body and allow air to flow smoothly past the back of the car creating less disturbance. So it needs to be left black, on the real car it is a satin black. My kit (1/25) calls for it to be painted body color! I hope this helps someone. jrherald420
Yeah the decals give you a red decal to go in there, guess they thought it was a brake light. lol I taped it off on mine and painted it Semi gloss black.
