My wife came up with the idea of making it look like a pimp car, so apart from what you can see in these photos, the interior will be flocked (hopefully shagged) throughout. The 70 Chevelle LS6 454 had the highest advertised horsepower at 450. The 70 Buick GS had the highest advertised torque at 510.The Buick is looking good. I don't have a lot of spare parts at the moment - only what I've salvaged from other kits. Buying spares in Australia is stupidly expensive, and shipping small parts from most overseas countries costs far too much in shipping. In one of their publications there was an article that said that the Buick 455 block contained more nickel in the metal and somehow caused it to be much lighter and wear better. Buicks 455 engine block was actually the lightest in weight compared to the Olds and Pontiac engine blocks. I don't recall by how much though.
