Spot Painting To Fix Blemishes

Recommended Posts

Could you color sand and rub them out? I am not sure if you have a little dust in the clear or what was going on. My first guess is if its really small you could color sand and polish with a polishing kit. Now I am not sure how many coats of clear you have on it it another option is to color sand (wet sand) with some fine grit paper 1500 or 2000 an reshoot the clear. If you are just wanting to do lets say a fender you could tape off at the body lines and re shoot just that area. I know these are not the only option but just a couple ideas for you.

Thanks for the reply, Mooneyzs. I can't sand it out...it's a deep fisheye that exposes the undercoat.

Also, I sanded a nib and it popped out leaving another little hole in the clear.

I heard of a technique using a piece of paper with a hole to shoot through.

Maybe, I'll give tha a try.
