tiny nuts

i just had a thought and i may spend a few dollars to try this , ,, i see no reason what i cant have a pair of pliers made with the hex ground into the jaws to form hex stock and then slice off the length to make nuts ,, or maybe there is such a tool already , anyway , your thoughts on this guys

While not cheap, Scale Hardware offers a neat line of miniature rivet, nut, bolt and even working bolts and nuts in metal in some unbelievable small sizes. These are machined in brass, some come plated as well. http://www.scalehardware.com/

I've used some of them, and believe me, they do add scale realism.
