ROTTEN APPLE (Revell 37 Ford Coupe)

I want to thank Scott G. over at SCALE MODEL ADDICT MAGAZINE for suggesting the name for this one early on. Thanks, Scott. Also, the folks over at AK-INTERACTIVE for sending me so many of the products I ended up using in this kit, in particular their wonderful rusting kit.

It feels good to be back doing a little bit of the rust and gunk for a change.

Cheers and enjoy.

Just a few more for good measure.

BTW, this was build box stock through and through. Well, except for the wheels and tires which come from the 49 Merc (via Cadillac).

Thanks, Tim. Sometimes I think photos are the real reason so many of us build models.

how do you place decals on that weathered surface

because its not plain like a high gloss if i try that they wont adhere and get a lot silver shine
