hi alan, thanks to you and everyone for your kind and encouraging comments. as for the decals in this kit,...they are a bit tricky to use, but making sure they sit on the backing paper for 2-3 minutes,..as well as having the area of the body nice and wet, ya should be ok. i have read several complaints re. the newer amt decals that some builders find them tough to use. i found the key is the wetter the better, as once in position its difficult to slide them around, as they are thin. i've also found that decal solvents don't seem to have any real affect on them. so, make certain all your air bubbles and such are worked out and pressed into place even more than you usually do....the quality is there but patience and precision is the key here. hope this helps...if you build one, please post pics,..i'd love to see it as well. regards and thanks, a.c.

hi jon, thanks for the comments.....i sprayed it with testors laquer # 1831mca-fiery orange. i didn't use clearcote , just let it dry for a day, then applied the decals, and polished it lightly with some detailer spray wax. its the first time i used this type of testors paint,...nice result, clean, good shine, covers well. the tamiya sprays are the best , jon, even better than testors.
