carburetor color tips

eastwood restoration products make a line of spray paint called carb renew works great and looks originalwe use it in the shop whenever we rebuild old carbs i know it comes in both the gold and silver and 1 can will last a lifetime of model cars

A can from Eastwood will probably paint as many as 300 (?) model carburators.

I thought I repsoned to this last night, but I must have not hit the "post" button -

Alclad Pale Gold and Pale Burnt Metal are my 2 faves for carbs. Testor's Jet Exhaust (the MM enamel and Acryl color, not "Exhaust" the Metalizer), Burnt Metal Metalizer and Tamiya Titanium Gold are good ones to keep around, too.
