Craig Irwin
Sad to hear, but she's been suffering for a long time. I remember her Mickey Mouse Club sweater fitting her better than most of the other girls sweaters did.

Harry P.
Bummer. I think she was very ill for many years. She was diagnosed with MS in 1987. And let's not forget Margaret Thatcher... just slightly more important in world history (but didn't look as good in a sweater as Annette)... Ben
I just saw a video where they were asking Britney Spears "Hey Britney, what do you think of Annette Funicello's passing, she was a fellow Mousekiteer? Britney said "I think that's great!" Wow, talk about cold hearted!?
slusher
She had been strugging long before 1987 with MS but now they know more about it. She was a very good person from what l have read about her.

Harry P.
I think a lot of people this side of the pond would disagree with that Harry ..... Agree or disagree with her politics, you can't disagree that she was more important in the overall scheme of things than Annette Funicello was. robertw
As a young teen I had a huge crush on Annette and have enjoyed her movies, bad acting, bad stories and all. It was during the filming of Back to the Beach in '87 that her MS symtoms first appeared so she's suffered a long time with that terrible disease so at least she finally released from it. RIP Annette.
