thank you all for the wheel help

im having trouble with the drop i dont want to slam it but i need a litttle drop to resemble the real truck i got the back im just going to add a block to raise the axle where i need it but the front has puzzled me ill post some pics this weekend of the problems i dont want to cut the wheel wells just get the front up a very little the real truck had a 3/3 drop on 2 inch drop spindles and 1 inch drop springs up front and the back was on 3 inch blocks so it wasnt to extrem plus the rims i had with low profile tires helped it drop another 1/2 inch you could still see the top of the wheel with about and inch or 2 space between the fender and top of the rim the real truck had a slight rake but very un noticable

UPDATE:

got some rims for the drag radials they are a dead match also picked up a set of irocs for pegisius for the front but may use the stock rims off the 80s s-10 cause they are closer to the one of one truck....

worked on the door trim a little still needs much more attention but wanted to see the look may still shave it off and go for a smooth look as I had the trim on my truck and I took it off after a few years so that's still in the air

o and I made a custom duel electric fan set up as I had put a Camaro fan set up in my truck and want to make it as close to the original truck I had as possible I thought it cam out great it was a very tight fit but I got it in there with the radiator and still have room for the motor minus the clutch fan of course I had to cut the fan shroud off for fit and also to be able to see the fans better works out good in the end and still have a bit left from the shroud to attach the air intake which I am modifying into a k&n style intake

here are some updated pics:

Robert, l have a link to your gauge pillar pod, scale dreams has them. they also carry wheels and other products fair priced. To me the wheel and tires you bought is the tires are too small. you can use one of the 2 until you find the set you really like. l have seen those mirrors but what kit l can't recall at this time. out a picture of the mirrors and vent shades in the question and answer section and see if you get some replies. here is the link to scale dreams pod and you have to buy 10.00 min order. they have great stuff. keep up the good work. if l find or remember anything l will let you know....

thanks carl that is exactly what I am looking for to the T I had them in the real truck so I defiantly want to pick those up i'm going to go with the bigger wheel off the old s-10 I kit bashed for parts I don't like the irocs which is a shame cause I paid 10 bucks for them they just are to small and don't fill the wheel well

as for the mirrors im sure I will have to search kits to find them

I am going to scratch build the msd box

I just have to get someone who makes decals as I don't have any of the stuff nor a good printer for them to make me an msd decal, a k&n decal, Lakewood, and autometer decals as I had all of those stickers on the back window and on the traction bars themselves I want to get this as close as I can down to the stickers scratches and dents lol I have just been working on the hood I am trying to replicate clear coat pealing as I had a small spot on the real truck hood where the clear coat bubbled and pealed lol I also had repainted the roof of the real truck myself and it was my first paint experience on a real car and I orange pealed it pretty bad and I replicated it on the roof as well that was hard actually trying to get it to orange peal lol never tried to do it before and took like 5 coats to finally get it to do it but its suttle and they way I want it in the end people are going to be like o this truck is so nice but you messed up the paint and could have done a better job painting it but in actuality I intended it to be that way and as you can see from the first paint pictures of the first coats it was perfect but it was to perfect and my real truck was not a show truck it was a street truck I had 5 grand into with everything so it wasn't perfect but it was mine and it was fun and building this brings all those memories back I found myself day dreaming about a time I had gotten some road fun on the way back from six flags on the garden state turnpike from a haot blonde I was dating at the time while I was mocking up the interior and trying to find a way to make it into a 5 speed....the shifter brought it up I guess its not easy to shift a car while your pants are down lol good times good times to bad I don't have the truck or the girl anymore but they both were fun while they lasted and sometimes you have to move on to bigger and better things lol
